Hi Sam,
Long time not talk. I've gone through a lot of treatment and
therapy in past two months (I was diagnosed with Bipolar II). I didn't want to
evoke any ill feelings so I've kept quiet. All in all, I am still going
steadily through the things I said I'd do.
I am emailing just to say: therapy has really helped me. I
know it's cliche and sounds kind of lame, still I think you'll find it helpful
if you just spend an hour or so with a psychologist or a psychiatrist. If
nothing else, you will be able vent. You'll be amazed at the power of just
telling your feelings to a complete stranger!
Also we all want to let you know, me especially: we support
you. I know I kind of dropped the ball before but never doubt that me, your
parents, as well as my family, are supportive of you.
Nothing but good thoughts for you. Add oil!

Hi, I'm glad to hear that therapy is working for you. I am
rebuilding my new life and have supportive friends around me. I hope you
continue to get well, make friends, and live a full life too. Thanks for the
email.
-Sam

Also, glad to hear you got a diagnosis; naming something
gives you a better grip on it. A second opinion might add perspective too,
since psych is not an exact science yet.
