to Julie, Billy-
Hi Billy & Julie,
Happy New Year. I am writing to apologize for my behaviors
during the Christmas holiday. I have no excuse. Only wish you were not
inversely affected.
Over the past couple of years, due to problems unresolved in
my own life and in our marriage, I have developed progressives depression
attacks. At first the depression appeared as passiveness and pessimism. Over
time, as time went by and my helplessness deepened, it became aggressive. I
have said and done horrible things to Sam in the later stage. It was wrong and
inexcusable.
I can't really ask for your understanding, but only want to
be as honest as I can.
Going forward, Sam will be heading back to the US. I will
continue to here, work and get psychological therapy. My hope is to resolve my
depression issues and become a stronger healthier being for our marriage.
Although things look grim, I sincerely hope that's not the case that we cannot
continue. I cannot make up for the damage I have done, but I will be working
towards bettering myself and our circumstances.
Lastly, I want to offer my heartfelt congratulations for the
healthy growth of baby Elijah, and the professional success you both achieved
in Beijing. I heard Elijah had some ear problem a month ago when mama was
there. Hope he's all recovered by now.
Best wishes,
Hoiyin
